Biography
Mónica focuses her legal practice on Financial Services, Capital Markets, and Data Privacy. She advises local and international clients on complex regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters.
Mónica began her legal career at White & Case in 2022 and rejoined the firm in 2025 after completing a Master of Law and Business (LLM) at Bucerius Law School in cooperation with WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany, an interdisciplinary program combining legal and business education.
Experience
Pareto Securities and Nordic Trustee
Advised Pareto Securities as manager with Nordic Trustee as bond trustee on Grupo Fertiberia's (Fertiberia) issuance of €300 million senior secured floating rate bonds due 2031 and a bank consortium led by Banco Santander, S.A. in relation to the super senior revolving credit facility.
Delivery Hero
Advised Delivery Hero SE, the world's leading local delivery platform, on raising an aggregate amount of US$1.4 billion in additional term loans maturing in June 2032.
Citi
Advised Citigroup on the financial regulatory matters related to its restructuring process for the separation of its consumer and institutional banking businesses in Mexico.
