Global law firm White & Case LLP has been honored with four 2023 "Deals of the Year" awards by the China Business Law Journal.
In selecting the winning deals, the China Business Law Journal editors chose the deals that "stood out" based on a number of factors, including "overall significance, complexity, innovative nature and deal size."
The Firm advised on the following four deals that won in their respective category:

- Egypt's first sustainable panda bond issuance
General Corporate
- Saudi Aramco and Norinco's joint venture to set up a refinery complex

- Saudi Aramco's investment in one of China's largest private refiners, Zhejiang Petroleum and Chemical
Projects
- Huayou Cobalt's nickel collaboration project in Indonesia
