Following today's arguments before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in FTC v. Qualcomm, White & Case partner Noah Brumfield and associate Jonathan Klaren weigh in on the appeal of District Judge Lucy Koh's groundbreaking ruling concerning Qualcomm's chip set and patent licensing strategy in a new bylined article for The Daily Journal.

Brumfield and Klaren note the DOJ and FTC were on opposite sides of this important case for the technology industry and the antitrust standards as applied to IP licensing, and that the case opened the door for national security overlay into antitrust regulation.
