White & Case advises bank consortium on financing for Glasfaser Nordwest’s expansion of fibre optic network in northwest Germany

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the banking consortium on the infrastructure financing for Glasfaser Nordwest GmbH & Co. KG (Glasfaser Nordwest), a joint venture between Telekom Deutschland GmbH (Telekom) and EWE AG (EWE), to expand the fibre optic network in northwest Germany.  

The financing includes investment projects and a revolving credit facility provided by the banks. In addition, the financing comprises of an uncommitted incremental facility. The financing secures Glasfaser Nordwest's corporate goal of connecting 1.5 million households and businesses to the high-speed fibre optic network in northwest Germany by 2030.
