White & Case advises banks on Electrolux Group’s SEK 9.1 billion rights issue

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Morgan Stanley and SEB as joint global coordinators and joint underwriters and Deutsche Bank as joint underwriter on the SEK 9.1 billion fully underwritten rights issue of Electrolux Group.
The rights issue, supported by AB Electrolux's largest shareholder, Investor AB, is intended to finance and accelerate Electrolux Group's profitable growth initiatives and expedite the achievement of its financial targets, as well as strengthen the Group's balance sheet.
Electrolux Group is a global appliance company with brands including Electrolux, AEG and Frigidaire and has a presence in approximately 120 countries.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Johan Thiman (Stockholm) and included partner Mikko Hulkko (Helsinki), counsel Nima Naderi (Stockholm) and Thomas Killeen (Helsinki) and associates Louise Björnsson, Hanna Lindquist, Amanda Odeen (all Stockholm) and Tilda Vainio (Helsinki).
