Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Ambienta SGR S.p.A. (Ambienta), through its portfolio company Officine Maccaferri S.p.A. (Maccaferri), on the acquisition of Surface Tech.
Maccaferri is a global leader in the development of engineering solutions for climate change adaptation and environmental protection. Surface Tech is a company founded in 2013 and headquartered in San Diego, US, specializing in aramid fibre reinforcement solutions for more sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
Through its buy-and-build strategy, the Group combines specialist businesses with its engineering expertise and international reach to build a leader in durable, resource-efficient and climate-resilient infrastructure.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partners Michael Immordino (London & Milan) and Leonardo Graffi (Milan & London) and included associate Francesco Barcellini and lawyer Laura Bozzini (both Milan).
