White & Case Advises Zakher Marine International on Sale to ADNOC

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Zakher Marine International (ZMI), an Abu Dhabi-based owner and operator of offshore support vessels, on its acquisition by ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S), the shipping and maritime logistics arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

Following the acquisition, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals, ZMI will continue operating as a standalone entity under ADNOC L&S.

Established in Abu Dhabi in 1984, ZMI is the world’s largest owner and operator of self-propelled jack-up barges and a leading provider of offshore support vessels in the Gulf Cooperation Council region with operations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and China. 

ADNOC is a diversified energy and petrochemicals group wholly owned by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
