Overview

Jan Ole Eichstädt is a partner in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice with a focus on Private Equity matters.

His practice includes private and public transactions, growth investments and joint ventures.

Jan Ole has broad transaction experience, including complex German and cross-border deals.

Prior to joining White & Case, Jan Ole worked for major international law firms in Frankfurt, London, New York and Munich. In 2018, Jan Ole was seconded to London-based private equity investor Novalpina Capital.

Advised Battery Ventures on (i) its acquisition of ifp Institut für Produktqualität GmbH, (ii) its voluntary public takeover offer for EASY SOFTWARE AG, (iii) its acquisition of WinWorker GmbH (previously Sander + Partner GmbH), (iv) its acquisition of abas Software AG through its portfolio company Forterro and (v) Battery Ventures' VertiGIS Group on the acquisition of SynerGIS GIS & FM Solutions, as well as various other completed and contemplated transactions.

Nordic Capital
Advised Nordic Capital on the acquisition of the Sunrise Medical group from Equistone Partners Europe as well as Nordic Capital and its portfolio companies on various other completed and contemplated transactions.
