White & Case LLP has been named "Team of the Year: Capital Markets" and "Team of the Year: Loans" at this year's IFLR Africa Awards.

White & Case advised the lenders on the bifurcated stapled financings for Shell's onshore and shallow water assets in Nigeria acquired by Renaissance Africa Energy, a consortium of five Nigerian oil and gas companies.

Impact Deal Award: Equity – Guaranty Trust secondary LSE listing
White & Case advised Guaranty Trust Holding Company on its fully marketed share offering and the admission of its ordinary shares to the UK Financial Conduct Authority's Official List and trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. Guaranty Trust operates in 11 African countries and the UK.
