White & Case Advises A15 on Sale of Majority Stake in Connect Ads

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised A15 Holding Netherlands B.V. (A15) on its sale of 86 percent of its shares in Connect Ads DMCC (Connect Ads), a leading MENA provider of digital advertising, to the Aleph Internet Media Services LLC (Aleph) group.

"White & Case has a strong track record advising on complex tech and private equity transactions in the Middle East," said Dubai-based White & Case partner Marcus Booth, who co-led the Firm's deal team. "Our support helped ensure that A15, a longstanding client, successfully signed another important deal involving numerous complexities that our team was able to navigate successfully."

The completion of the transaction remains subject to certain closing conditions.

Aleph is a global digital communications and marketing business which is a partner to many of the world's largest media players. A15 will receive both cash and shares in IMS Internet Media Services Inc., an Aleph group company.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by was led by partners Marcus Booth (Dubai), Jonathan Langley (Moscow) and Said Hanafi (Cairo), and included counsel Stefan Mrozinski (Dubai) and associates Mahmoud Ezz, Farah Atef (both Cairo), Mohammed Basama (Doha) and Salewudin Ibrahim (Dubai). Other lawyers from the White & Case offices in London, Miami, Washington, DC and Istanbul also advised on the transaction.
