Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Ahlstrom on the sale of Ahlstrom Arches, its abrasives production business unit operating company, to Munksjö.
The transaction includes the sale of the Ahlstrom Arches plant in France, jointly operated by Ahlstrom and Munksjö since 2022, as well as all assets and personnel associated with the business unit. It represents a strategic turning point in Ahlstrom's transformation by allowing the group to streamline its activities and strengthen its position as a market leader internationally.
Ahlstrom is a global leader in the manufacture of specialty fiber-based materials. Munksjö is a leading international manufacturer of decor paper solutions.
