White & Case Advises Aramco on its Acquisition of the Global Products Business of Valvoline, Inc.

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Aramco, one of the world's largest integrated energy and chemical companies, on its entry into an Equity Purchase Agreement with US-based automotive services provider Valvoline, Inc. to acquire Valvoline, Inc.'s Global Products Business for US$2.65 billion, subject to certain customary adjustments as set forth in the Equity Purchase Agreement.

The acquisition will complement Aramco's line of premium branded lubricant products, optimize its global base oils production capabilities, and expand Aramco's research and development activities, and partnerships with original equipment manufacturers.  

The White & Case team was led by partners Gregory Pryor and Frank Lupinacci (both in New York).
