White & Case advises Montagu on acquisition of IAI Group, Poland’s leading digital retail solutions provider

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised leading mid-market private equity firm Montagu on the signing of a preliminary agreement to acquire IAI Group (IAI) from MCI Capital ASI and IAI's founders, Paweł Fornalski and Sebastian Muliński.

IAI will join Montagu's portfolio of digital infrastructure businesses across Europe including Multifonds, Harvest, ITRS Group and Wireless Logic.

The transaction is subject to customary conditions precedent, including obtaining approval from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).

IAI is the largest e-commerce SaaS (software as a service) platform in Poland, enabling companies to create and maintain an online presence. It serves around 7,000 stores in Poland and around 6,000 in Hungary through its three brands, IdoSell, AtomStore and Shoprenter. It is also the owner of IdoPayments, a payment services company granted National Payment Institution status by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
