White & Case announces London qualifying trainee retention rate for March 2025

Global law firm White & Case LLP will retain 87 percent of its London trainees who were due to qualify in March 2025, after 20 of 23 trainees accepted positions at the Firm.

The newly qualified lawyers join practices including Antitrust; Commercial Litigation; Construction; Debt Finance; Employment, Compensation & Benefits; Financial Restructuring and Insolvency; Financial Services Regulatory; International Arbitration; Mergers & Acquisitions and Project Development and Finance. One trainee is joining the Firm's office in Doha, reflecting the global importance of English law expertise at White & Case.

White & Case retained 87 percent of its London trainees who qualified during 2024. The Firm's trainee solicitor programme in London, which has been established for 27 years, has an average retention rate of 82 percent during the five-year period from 2020 to 2024. Around 50 trainees join the scheme each year and benefit from experience working on complex, cross-border matters as well as an opportunity to work in an overseas office for six months.
