Diversity Lab has announced that White & Case has again fully satisfied its criteria for Mansfield certification after completing the Mansfield Rule 3.0 12-month certification program. Mansfield 3.0 certifies that a law firm has affirmatively considered at least 30 percent women, attorneys of color, LGBTQ+ attorneys and attorneys with disabilities for recruitment, governance roles, equity partner promotions and inclusion in client pitches, according to Diversity Lab. White & Case has been Mansfield certified every year since 2018, the inaugural year.
In addition to its Mansfield Certification, White & Case once again achieved "Mansfield Certification Plus" status for achieving at least 30 percent diverse lawyer representation in a notable number of current leadership roles.
According to Diversity Lab, the goal of the Mansfield Rule is to boost the representation of diverse lawyers in law firm leadership by broadening the pool of candidates considered for these roles and opportunities.
"We remain committed to ensuring that an inclusive range of high-performing professionals rise to leadership roles, both at our Firm and throughout our profession," said White & Case Global Women's Initiative Chair Carina Radford (London). "Our Plus rating reflects our ongoing work to support a framework that encourages all to succeed and widens the aperture for diverse talent."
