White & Case Wins 9 Women in Business Law Awards for Europe, Americas

Euromoney Legal Media Group has just honored White & Case nine times for the accomplishments of its women lawyers and the Firm's commitment to their success: seven times at the Euromoney Legal Media Group Europe Women in Business Law Awards in London, and twice at the Euromoney Legal Media Group Americas Women in Business Law Awards in New York.

Europe

Jacquelyn MacLennan (Brussels): Best in competition & antitrust (second year won)

Laura Hoyland (London): Rising star, Tax

Laura Hoyland has a wide range of transactional and advisory experience advising corporate and individual clients on direct and indirect tax aspects of corporate and financing transactions, including asset and share transfers and corporate restructuring including cross border mergers, accessing the capital markets, securitizations and bank finance.

Jacquelyn MacLennan offers a wealth of experience for clients worldwide, representing leading multinational corporations, governments and trade associations. She focuses on EU competition law, and clients benefit from her experience and insight in developing strategy and running major international cartel investigations, as well as advising on complex distribution problems and licensing arrangements, abuse of dominance cases, mergers and joint ventures.

Carolyn J. Vardi represents buyers and sellers in public and private mergers and acquisitions, including joint ventures and equity co-investments. She has built up a strong and significant track record in the resolution of complex transactions for domestic and international private equity funds, as well as for corporate clients.
