White & Case ranked number 1 by deal value for global M&A in the third quarter of 2016, according to Bloomberg and Mergermarket. White & Case advised on over 224 announced deals in excess of US$420 billion, according to Mergermarket's M&A League Tables published October 6, 2016.
Mergermarket also ranked the Firm regionally:
- Europe – White & Case ranked #2 by value for European M&A, for advising on 145 announced deals with an aggregate value in excess of US$184 billion.
- US – White & Case ranked #3 by value for US M&A, for advising on 103 announced deals with an aggregate value in excess of US$284 billion.
- Asia – White & Case ranked #5 by value for Asia-Pacific M&A, for advising on 37 announced deals with an aggregate value in excess of US$67 billion.
