Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Huvepharma Group, a leading and fast-growing global pharmaceutical company with a focus on developing, manufacturing and marketing human and animal health products, on the successful closing of a €490 million refinancing, securing its syndicated credit facility for the next seven years.
White & Case advised Huvepharma Group on all aspects of the transaction including the amendment to the other finance documents including an intercreditor agreement and a separate finance contract concluded with the European Investment Bank, as well as security documentation in a number of jurisdictions in which Huvepharma Group operates including Poland, Bulgaria, Belgium, Brazil, the Netherlands, France and the USA.
The lending syndicate comprised UniCredit Bulbank AD, United Bulgarian Bank AD, DSK Bank AD, Eurobank Bulgaria AD, ING Bank N.V. – Sofia Branch, BNP Paribas S.A. – Sofia Branch, KBC Bank N.V. and Citibank Europe Plc, Bulgaria Branch. Citibank Europe Plc, UK Branch acted as facility agent, and Citibank N.A., London Branch acted as security agent.
White & Case previously advised Huvepharma on a €130 million credit facility for research, development and innovation investments in feed additives, veterinary pharmaceutical products and vaccines.
