Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised fast-growing fintech company Pollinate on its series C round.

"Pollinate's latest funding round will enable the company to grow its global footprint and expand its service offering," said White & Case partner Guy Potel, who led the Firm's deal team. "Our role advising Pollinate on this latest stage of its growth follows our work with the team at Pollinate on its Series B round and growth capital investment round and demonstrates the experience of our team supporting technology companies from inception."

The investment was led by global venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners and included participation from the existing investor base, including NatWest Group, Mastercard, National Australia Bank, EFM Asset Management, and Motive Partners.

The investment signals Pollinate's further global expansion and move into North America, where they are in advanced conversations with a number of banks. Additionally, the funding will accelerate the expansion of Pollinate’s white-label marketplace offering to meet the needs of banks' small and medium sized business customers.

Al Lukies CBE, Pollinate Founder and CEO, said: "It is our passion to work with leading banks and dynamic merchants around the world. This investment round, led by the outstanding team at Insight Partners and supported by our existing shareholders, validates our mission, and is a statement of confidence in the banks – that they can fight back against new entrants and win, all while supporting the vital work of SMEs."

The White & Case team in London which advised on the transaction was led by partner Guy Potel, with support from partners Lindsey Canning, Nicholas Greenacre, Tim Hickman, James Hardy and Laura Hoyland, and associates Helen Pantelides, Tiffanie Chan, Juanita Derex-Briggs, Benita Tibb and Alexander Miles-Dinham.
