Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global White Collar Practice with the addition of new partners Tai Park and Douglas Jensen in New York.

"The addition of Tai and Doug is an example of our commitment to expanding our white collar capabilities as part of the Firm's 2020 strategy," said partner Darryl Lew, who leads the Firm's Global White Collar Practice. "As former federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York, Tai and Doug have played pivotal roles in virtually all of the high-profile white collar cases in New York over the past ten years. They will help to build out an already-strong white collar group, and I am confident they will be of great value to our clients."

Park and Jensen join White & Case from Park Jensen Bennett LLP, a leading New York boutique law firm specializing in white collar and litigation matters, which they co-founded in 2009. They will bring a team with them to White & Case, including a counsel and two associates.

Park's practice focuses on white collar criminal and regulatory defense matters, in which he has represented both companies and executives for over 20 years, including in high-profile criminal trials. He has also regularly conducted corporate internal investigations. He formerly served for ten years as a federal prosecutor in the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, where he was awarded the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service, and held various positions including Senior Trial Counsel in the Securities & Commodities Fraud Task Force, as well as Chief of the Narcotics Unit. Prior to co-founding Park Jensen Bennett, Park was a partner at an international law firm for nine years, where he was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2006.

Jensen's practice focuses on representing executives and corporations in major white collar criminal and regulatory investigations pursued by government agencies, complex civil litigation, arbitrations and internal investigations. He formerly served for 11 years as Assistant US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, where he held positions including Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division and Chief of the Narcotics Unit. Prior to that, he was a partner at a national law firm. Jensen has tried or supervised dozens of jury trials, including those involving securities fraud, money laundering and mail and wire fraud.

"Clients look to White & Case's Global White Collar Practice to provide an unmatched level of service in helping them solve their most difficult issues," said Jason Zakia, Head of White & Case’s Disputes Section for the Americas. "Tai and Doug’s outstanding experience will reinforce this, and we are excited they have joined us to play leading roles in ensuring our White Collar Practice continues to grow and thrive."

"After more than 20 years defending companies and individuals facing governmental charges, we look forward to continuing our practice at White & Case," said Jensen.

Park continues: "The Firm not only has exceptional international presence but has built a reputation for tenacious advocacy and creative solutions in the white-collar space. We are very excited to join this team."
