White & Case partner Thomas Lauria (New York/Miami) was inducted into the M&A Advisor Hall of Fame at a ceremony in New York on November 17, 2014. Earlier in 2014, he won the 2014 M&A Advisor Leadership Award for outstanding restructuring lawyer.
The M&A Advisor established a Hall of Fame to recognize extraordinary industry stalwarts. To date, only 30 professionals have been formally inducted into the M&A Advisor Hall of Fame.
Lauria is the Global Head of the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice at White & Case and has led White & Case teams in efforts to restructure more than US$100 billion of debt in some of the largest and most complex restructurings in history, including Dynegy Inc., the Los Angeles Dodgers, LightSquared, Inc., General Maritime Corp., TORM A/S, Central European Distribution Corp., Washington Mutual Inc., Visteon Corp., Six Flags Amusement Parks, Chrysler, WCI Communities, Delphi Corporation, Adelphia Communications Corporation, Mirant Corporation and Corporación Durango.
He regularly represents debtors, ad hoc creditor and lender groups, statutory committees, strategic and financial investors, and sovereigns in a wide variety of industry and market sectors.
