Good2BSocial, a leading legal industry digital marketing agency, has named White & Case the top law firm on Twitter in its 2017 Social Law Firm Index report. The Firm leapt to first place for 2017 from 13th in 2016.
According to the report, White & Case achieved its high ranking through its Twitter feed (https://twitter.com/WhiteCase) by:
- Increasing the volume of its tweets
- Using more photographs, pull quotes and videos
- Using hashtags
- Using links to original blog posts
"Twitter is an important part of our social media strategy and we have become more focused in how we use it," said White & Case Chief Marketing Officer Michael Hertz, as quoted in Good2BSocial's report. "Our Twitter results also reflect our increasing investment in innovative content and thought leadership which we believe has contributed to our ranking."
The Social Law Firm Index measures the effectiveness of the top 200 US law firms (as ranked by The American Lawyer) across a variety of social media channels and content platforms, according to Good2BSocial. The Index analyzes each firm's presence on the internet and across social media, evaluating the social usage of each to extend thought leadership messages and to otherwise engage with clients and constituents. These factors are reduced to numerical measures, weighted, and incorporated into an algorithm to develop each firm's Good2bSocial Score and rank on the Index.
