White & Case Advises Ardian on Acquisition of Majority Stake in Saal Digital

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised private equity investor Ardian on the acquisition of a majority stake in Saal Digital.

The previous shareholders around Nordwind Capital and the Saal family will continue to hold a substantial stake in the company and have reinvested on a significant scale in the course of the transaction. The parties have agreed not to disclose the volume of the transaction.

Ardian is an independent private equity house with more than 610 employees and assets of approximately US$96 billion under management in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Saal Digital is a leading online platform that sells high-end photo products in Europe, including photo books with special layflat bindings, wall pictures made of aluminium dibond or under acrylic glass, and photo prints.
