White & Case Advises Cobepa on Investment in Enoplastic

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Cobepa, a privately-held investment company, on the execution of a strategic agreement with the shareholders of Enoplastic, a leading global player in the manufacturing of closures for the wine & spirits industry.

The agreement with Cobepa will support Enoplastic in its next phase of growth in Italy and worldwide.

Cobepa is an independent, privately-held investment company with a net worth of over €2.6 billion. Active since 1957, Cobepa has developed into a well-recognized actor in private equity with offices in Brussels and New York.

Enoplastic was founded in 1957 and is a global leader in B2B manufacturing of a wide range of closure solutions, such as capsules, synthetic corks, screw caps and seals. The company leverages an Italian facility plus five other local facilities in the US, New Zealand, Spain, Australia and France.

The White & Case team that advised on the transaction comprised partners Michael Immordino (London and Milan), Leonardo Graffi and Alessandro Nolet (Milan), Thierry Bosly (Brussels) and local partner Jérémie Jourdan (Brussels and Paris), together with associates Sara Scapin, Nicola L’Erario and Bianca Caruso and lawyer Ioana Gaga (all Milan).
