White & Case Advises GVS on Italian IPO with €500 Million Offer and Initial Capitalization of Over €1.4 Billion

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised GVS S.p.A. on its initial public offering on the Mercato Telematico Azionario (MTA), organized and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., successfully placing 34.9 percent of the total share capital, for a total value of approximately €500 million, and a capitalization of approximately €1.4 billion.
GVS's offering has been the only IPO on the Italian main market in 2020 and the second biggest IPO in Europe in terms of offering size this year.
The GVS Group is one of the global leaders in the supply of filtration solutions in the healthcare & life sciences, energy & mobility, and health & safety sectors.
Goldman Sachs International and Mediobanca - Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A. acted as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners. Mediobanca - Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A. has also acted as Sponsor in connection with admission to trading of the Shares on the MTA.
