Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Mid Europa Partners on its acquisition of 70 percent of the shares in JS Hamilton, with its founder Jan Olszowski remaining invested in the business.
Established in 1999 and with offices in Budapest, Istanbul, London and Warsaw, Mid Europa Partners is a leading buyout investor focused on the growth markets of Central & Eastern Europe, with approximately €4.6 billion of funds raised and managed since inception.
JS Hamilton is a leading testing, inspection and certification company in Poland engaged in food, non-food, fuel and environmental testing, as well as cargo and engineering inspection. It operates 13 laboratories across Poland and Central & Eastern Europe, serving customers in Poland, Croatia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania.
