Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised alternative investment management fund Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. on the investment of a €115.2 million convertible bond issuance to the benefit of hotel asset manager Paris Inn Group and Maison Albar Hotels related to the establishment of a strategic partnership through a hotel investment vehicle named Centaurus.
It was one of the largest investments in the French hotel industry in 2020. White & Case previously advised Oaktree Capital Management on its in 2019 investment in bond debt and equity in the Desjouis Group, and on the sale of Groupe Kley to AXA IM - Real Assets.
