White & Case Advises Swiss Life Asset Managers on sale of Amprion stake to RWE

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Swiss Life Asset Managers on the sale of its indirect stake in the German transmission system operator Amprion to RWE AG.

Amprion is one of Germany’s four transmission system operators and operates an extra-high-voltage grid. Approximately 11,000 kilometers long, it spans seven federal states from the North Sea to the Alps and transmits electricity to approximately 29 million people.

Swiss Life Asset Managers’ Infrastructure Equity platform manages assets of over €13 billion.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
