White & Case Advises Triton on Sale of DSI Underground to Sandvik

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Triton on the sale of DSI Underground to Sandvik Group.

"Our cross-practice team has advised Triton on the successful sale of DSI Underground following Triton's nine year investment in the company," said White & Case partner Ian Bagshaw, who led the Firm's deal team. "Under Triton's ownership DSI Underground has gone from strength-to-strength, and it is now the leading global system supplier of innovative ground support systems for underground mining and tunneling."

The sale is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to complete in Q2 2021.

Since its establishment in 1997, Triton has sponsored nine funds, focusing on businesses in the industrial, business services, consumer and health sectors. The Triton funds invest in and support the positive development of businesses headquartered in Europe.

DSI Underground is the world's leading supplier of ground support products, systems and solutions for the underground mining and tunnelling industry. Present in 70 countries, DSI Underground employs over 2,000 people, including engineers and technical specialists with in-depth experience of the underground industry.

Sandvik is a high-tech global engineering group offering products and services that enhance customer productivity, profitability and safety.
