Global law firm White & Case LLP, through its Stockholm office, has joined the Norrsken Foundation's Action Against Corona initiative, which aims to support solutions to the global coronavirus pandemic.

"COVID-19 is a worldwide crisis and, as a global law firm with strong resources and a pro bono commitment across the partnership, we are committed to working with the Norrsken Foundation as it launches this important initiative to fight the impact of the virus," said Stockholm-based White & Case partner Magnus Wennerhorn. White & Case will provide a range of pro bono legal advice related to Action Against Corona, including contracts, permits, employment and fundraising.

The Norrsken Foundation has launched a dedicated website, www.actionagainstcorona.org, which sets out the mission: 'Are you a startup, a project or an initiative with a solution that can improve the situation: for victims, the healthcare system or the billions of people whose lives are, or will be, affected by Corona around the world? If so, we can support you. We want to accelerate your solution to fight the coronavirus and its implications by providing grants or investments, connecting you with the right partners and highlighting and raising awareness of your important work. Maybe that can increase your likelihood of success, and mitigate the damage caused by this global crisis.'

The Norrsken Foundation is a Stockholm-based, non-profit organisation which supports and invests in both for-profit and non-profit entities which it believes will have a positive impact on society.

The White & Case team in Stockholm working with the Norrsken Foundation on the Action Against Corona initiative includes partners Magnus Wennerhorn and Martin Järvengren, and associates Marcus Halling, Pontus Grönberg and Kajsa Sundklev.
