Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Assystem on its acquisition of a 75 percent stake in Radicon Gulf Consultancy.
The transaction was completed on January 15, 2015 after satisfying a number of conditions, including obtaining the approval of the Saudi Arabian Council of Engineers and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Assystem is a global engineering company listed on NYSE Euronext in Paris with a presence in 20 countries and nearly 11,000 employees. It currently has more than 700 employees in the Middle East, based in its offices in the UAE, Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Assystem was first active in the Gulf in 2011 through its participation in the UAE nuclear programme via its technical assistance subsidiary, MPH Global Services. In September 2013, the group boosted its development in the region by relocating its Energy & Infrastructure division headquarters to Dubai.
Radicon Gulf Consultancy is a professional design and engineering consultancy business based in Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia. Its 400 employees deliver infrastructure and industrial engineering services.
