Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised BNP Paribas, CM-CIC, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Mediobanca, Natixis and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, as Joint Bookrunners, on the sale by Group Bolloré of 22.5 percent of Havas’ share capital.
Group Bolloré sold a total of 93.9 million shares, representing 22.5 percent of Havas' share capital, for a total amount of €601 million in a private placement. The transaction will enable Havas to benefit from a significant free-float and maintain the liquidity of its shares, while Group Bolloré retains a significant majority.
