Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Battery Ventures, the private equity and venture capital investor, on its sale of Trust Group to NASDAQ-listed Sabre Corporation.
The transaction is expected to be completed in early 2016 at a sale price of approximately US$154 million.
With offices in Boston, San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Herzliya (Israel), Battery Ventures invests around the world. Its portfolio includes companies in the software, web infrastructure, e-commerce, digital media and industrial technologies sectors.
Trust Group is a global provider of solutions for hotel reservations, yield management and hotel marketing, headquartered in Germany. The companies it owns include not only Trust International, also based in Germany, but also InnLink and Nexus in the USA.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Stefan Koch with support from local partner Markus Stephanblome (both Frankfurt), and included partners Bodo Bender (Frankfurt), Börries Ahrens (Hamburg) and Detlev Gabel, counsel Andreas Klein and local partner Thomas Feiler as well as associates Hugo Leite, Tim Bracksiek (all Frankfurt) and Ioannis Thanos (Hamburg).
