White & Case Advises Bourgogne Développement Industrie on Semoflex Acquisition
Global Law Firm White & Case LLP has advised the Bourgogne Développement Industrie group (BDI) on its acquisition of flexible packaging manufacturer Semoflex, which has a €60 million turnover and a workforce of 300 people.
The acquisition makes BDI group the third largest polythene producer in France, and among the top 15 in Europe, with a turnover of €120 million and a production volume of more than 60,000 tonnes.
BDI also previously purchased European market leader in printed shrink film, Ceisa Packaging in 2004. The firm has ten years of experience in managing mid-size industrial firms with average financial results but strong technical expertise.
The White & Case team was led by partner Céline Domenget-Morin, and supported by associate Adrien Moretti.
