Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised France Télécom-Orange on the sale of its subsidiary Etrali, a leading provider of voice and electronic trading infrastructure and services to the trading community, to the U.S. investment fund The Gores Group.
Founded in 1965, Etrali employs about 450 people across major financial centres.
White & Case's team was primarily composed of Eric Laplante, Guillaume Vallat, and Benoît Vincent.
The Gores Group's legal advisors were Linklaters and Delsol Avocats.
Present in 32 countries, France Télécom-Orange is one of the world's leading telecommunications operators. It had sales of € 43.5 billion in 2012 and 170,000 employees worldwide as of 31 March 2013.
