Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Italian gaming company Gamenet S.p.A. on the US and Italian legal aspects of its €200 million issue of Senior Secured Notes due 2018.
Gamenet, a gaming company founded in 2006 and controlled by the private equity fund Trilantic Capital Partners, has a portfolio that includes slot machines, video lotteries, sports betting, skill games and online poker. The bonds are secured on a first-ranking basis by pledges above 70 percent of its share capital and over warrants representing the rights to acquire an additional 21.1 percent of the share capital.
Partner Michael Immordino said: "White & Case is one of the few law firms with an integrated US high yield practice that can provide a 'one-stop-shop' cross-border solution for issuers, underwriters and sponsors.
"We recently completed a High Yield transaction for the Wind Group and we believe that this is an area for growth in Italy which fits into our strategy of assisting companies and their subsidiaries across the gamut of debt products.
"Our debt capital markets attorneys have worked on an impressive number of debt deals, including many first time deals for Italian companies, and have for many years been in the vanguard of corporate finance, establishing the standard with top tier rankings as legal counsel in Eurobonds, High Yields, US Private Placements and SEC Registered Bonds."
The White & Case team that advised Gamenet was led by partners Rob Mathews (London), Michael Immordino (Milan & London), Ferigo Foscari (Milan) and Iacopo Canino (Milan) and included Milan and London-based associates James Greene, Silvia Pasqualini, Alessandro Picchi, Justin Levine and Jason Ewart.
