Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Katara Hospitality, the Qatar-based global owner, developer and operator of hotels, on the acquisition of five luxury InterContinental properties in key European cities.
Katara Hospitality has acquired the InterContinental Carlton Cannes, InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam, InterContinental Madrid, InterContinental Frankfurt and the leasehold interest on the InterContinental De La Ville Rome from a private investor.
The company now has a global portfolio of 32 hotels operational or under development, with properties or projects in 14 countries and a total of more than 7,100 rooms currently in use or under development.
