Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the arrangers Natixis and HSBC France on the financing of the acquisition of Safic-Alcan from the investment firm Parquest Capital.
The takeover of France-based Safic-Alcan is being led by its management, with support from investment funds Sagard and Euromezzanine.
Safic-Alcan is an international group which distributes specialty chemicals across Europe, Turkey and the Middle East, specializing in the preparation, marketing and distribution to industries including rubber, paint, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
The White & Case team in Paris which advised on the transaction included partners Raphaël Richard and Samir Berlat with support from counsel Julien Chameyrat and associates Roman Picherack, Thierry Pujol d’Andrébo and Rachid Madid.
