Global Law firm White & Case LLP announced its Annual Business Law Scholarship grant for the eighteenth consecutive year, as part of its social responsibility initiative. The €30 000 grant will be divided between three winners, enabling them to continue their studies at the foreign university of their choice.
The Firm began the scholarship program in 1995 as way to promote academic excellence and share its principles of solidarity and mutual aid.
"The scholarship, offered since 1995, is one of the earliest private initiatives ever led and also one of the most generous," said White & Case partner Denise Diallo, who oversees the scholarship program. "Since its inception, more than 50 students have already benefited from the scholarship and it serves as a way to enhance their professional profiles and prepare them for a brilliant legal career."
Registration is opened until April 20th 2012 to students who at least are in the process of obtaining a Law Master's Degree or a double degree at a French University.
Once the applications are received, eight candidates will be preselected and invited to meet the members of the jury and advocate their case on June 5th 2012. That same day, in the White & Case Paris office, a deliberation and prize-giving reception will be held, in order to reward the three winners.
