Global Law firm White & Case LLP has launched its 19th Annual Business Law Scholarship program, as part of its social responsibility initiative. A €33,000 grant will be divided between three winners, enabling them to continue their studies at the foreign university of their choice.
Through this scholarship program, White & Case promotes academic excellence and shares its principles of solidarity and mutual aid. "Since 1995 White & Case has offered this scholarship, which is part of the Firm's numerous social responsibility initiatives," said White & Case partner Denise Diallo, who oversees the scholarship program. "We want to encourage students to internationalise their academic backgrounds by providing them financial support to continue to study abroad."
Registration is open until April 19th 2013 and is available for students who are in the process of obtaining a Law Master's Degree or a double degree at a French university.
Once the applications are received, eight candidates will be preselected and invited to meet the members of the jury and advocate their case on June 11th 2013. That same day, in the White & Case Paris office, a deliberation and prize-giving reception will be held, in order to reward the three winners.
