White & Case LLP advised Unibail-Rodamco, the commercial property company, on the acquisition of Le Meridien Montparnasse sold by the investment fund Starman.
The company Lehwood Holding France, owned by the fund Starman which specializes in real estate investments, has sold to Unibail Rodamco its long leasehold interest and ownership of Hotel Le Meridien Montparnasse.
Le Meridien Montparnasse has been taken over by Accor Group and has been rebranded as the Pullmann Paris Montparnasse. Le Meridien Montparnasse, second largest hotel in Paris, is also one of the largest conference hotels in Europe.
In this transaction, Unibail-Rodamco was represented by White & Case, with a team led by corporate partners Brice Engel and Franck de Vita, assisted by Camille Note for corporate matters and led by partner Jean-Paul Tran Thiet, counsel Charles-Henri Calla, and associate Orion Berg for competition law issues.
