Global law firm White & Case LLP has achieved a victory for Prosodie-Capgemini in its dispute with Bouygues Telecom before the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Posts (ARCEP), the French telecommunications regulator.
The dispute concerned the pricing of value added services (special phone numbers giving access to specific services such as after sales assistance, bank accounts information, booking train tickets, contacting administrative services etc).
As a result of ARCEP’s decision, dated December 18, 2014, Prosodie-Capgemini obtained improved contractual terms for its relationship with Bouygues Telecom, which will ease the implementation of the reform to the retail value added services market which is effective from October 1, 2015.
The White & Case team in Paris included partner Jean-Paul Tran Thiet and counsel Orion Berg with support from associate Estelle Leclerc.
