Alex Touma Named Among "Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers under 40"

The National LGBT Bar Association and Foundation (the LGBT Bar) has named White & Case associate Alex Touma (Silicon Valley) to its 2019 class of the "Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers under 40."

Each year, the LGBT Bar recognizes LGBTQ+ legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and have demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBTQ+ equality. Touma and the other awardees will be formally recognized at the 2019 Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair in Philadelphia, August 7-9, 2019.

"Alex demonstrates the commitment to the highest quality of service and dedication to diversity that defines White & Case," said Jane E. Rueger (Washington, DC), co-head of the White & Case US Spectrum LGBT Affinity Group. "We are thrilled that Alex is receiving this recognition."

The National LGBT Bar Association is a national association of lawyers, judges and other legal professionals, law students, activists and affiliated lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender legal organizations. The LGBT Bar "promotes justice in and through the legal profession for the LGBTQ+ community in all its diversity," according to the organization.

Touma is an associate in the White & Case Intellectual Property Practice. Touma represents companies of all sizes and in a variety of industries including software, semiconductor and mobile technology companies. He also advises companies on technology-related matters including development and licensing agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements, distribution agreements, hosting agreements and sourcing transactions.
