The Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) has yet again acknowledged White & Case's outstanding commitment to workplace equality with a 100 percent rating in its annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The perfect rating certifies White & Case's place on the short list of "Best Places to Work" for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) employees. This is the 13th consecutive year White & Case has achieved a perfect score on the CEI.

"Although there is still so much to be done before we achieve true workplace equality for all, I am grateful to organizations like the HRC for continuing to push us, our peers, and our industries toward greater transparency and accountability," said Arlene Arin Hahn (New York), partner and chair of the White & Case Global Diversity Committee. "Each of us at White & Case should be proud of the role we have played in obtaining recognitions like these."

The HRC determines each CEI rating by evaluating the organization against a detailed criteria matrix that includes the prohibition of discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or expression for all operations; contractor/vendor non-discrimination standards that include sexual orientation and gender identity; the availability of partner health/medical insurance and transgender-inclusive health insurance; and other criteria.

The HRC is the educational arm of the largest US civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer people.
