Law360 has named global law firm White & Case LLP "Fintech Group of the Year" in its 2020 Practice Group of the Year awards, announced November 30th. This is the award's debut year of recognizing Fintech practice groups, and honors "the law firms behind the litigation wins and major deals that resonated throughout the legal industry in the past year," according to Law360.
White & Case was selected from more than 775 applicants, based on our role advising fintech giants like Square, Klarna, and other major technology companies on novel cryptocurrency, payments, and InsureTech matters.
"This award recognizes our efforts in establishing a top-tier, cross-practice global Fintech offering," said White & Case partner Adam Chernichaw (New York), from the Firm's Fintech Leadership team. "Our attorneys have come together to pursue and win a number of the highest-profile fintech mandates, and our results are prime examples of success building upon success. Our clients look to us to support them in the areas of cryptocurrency, payments, tech transactions, Fintech M&A, regulatory, capital markets, competition and litigation. We are proud to have earned our clients' trust to handle their most strategic fintech projects."
