LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex) job and career platform STICKS & STONES and advocacy organization Aktionsbündnis gegen Homophobie (Action Alliance against Homophobia) have awarded White & Case their PRIDE 500 seal, acknowledging the Firm's exceptional dedication to LGBT inclusion.
PRIDE 500 is the LGBTI employer seal for companies and organizations operating in Germany. The recipients of the seal "have to pursue a truly holistic and complex concept that focuses on all target groups of the LGBTI community with its own measures," according to STICKS & STONES, which reports that White & Case has in fact exceeded the criteria for the PRIDE 500 seal.
White & Case has long been recognized for its LGBT inclusiveness, a value nurtured in part by the Firm's Diversity Initiative and by its Spectrum LGBT Affinity Groups in the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany. The Firm has been honored for ten consecutive years by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation with a 100 percent rating in its annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI), placing White & Case on the short list of "Best Places to Work" for LGBTI employees.
