White & Case advises Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) on joint venture with Iberdrola Group

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), Abu Dhabi's leading renewable energy company, on its joint venture with Iberdrola Group, the Spain-based international energy group engaged in electric power generation, transmission and distribution.

Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) and Iberdrola have formed a joint venture to develop and operate project 'Baltic Eagle', a 476 MW offshore wind farm located in the German Baltic Sea valued at approximately €1.6 billion. Iberdrola sold a 49 percent stake in the existing project company to Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar).
