White & Case advises Metric Capital Partners on investment in Zambrero

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Metric Capital Partners (Metric Capital) on its investment in Mexican restaurant group Zambrero.

"This strategically signification investment will support Zambrero on its expansion of restaurants in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland," said White & Case partner Ben von Maur, who led the Firm's deal team. "Our role advising on this successful transaction showcases the strength and collaboration of White & Case's cross-border capabilities."

Metric Capital is a pan-European private capital fund that invests in mid-sized companies across a variety of industries. It has raised in excess of €2.6 billion of capital over four funds since its inception in 2012.

Founded in 2005 in Australia, Zambrero is the eighth largest global Mexican fast-food chain with more than 250 sites across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and the United States. Metric Capital's investment is the first ever external capital taken by Zambrero.
