White & Case advises Langer + Laumann on acquisition of majority stakes in CPM and NDC

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Langer + Laumann Group, a portfolio company of Norvestor IX SCSp, on the acquisition of a majority stake in UK-based Complete Plant Maintenance Engineering Ltd. (CPM) and its subsidiary Northern Drives & Controls Ltd. (NDC).

The combination creates an expanded platform in the European elevator aftermarket with an enhanced presence in the UK, continental Europe and the US.

Langer + Laumann is a leading specialist for retrofit drive and control systems, as well as critical elevator door components, supplying elevator manufacturers, service companies and property owners with solutions for elevator modernisation and reliable operation.

Manchester-based CPM provides maintenance services for elevators and industrial electromechanical equipment and focuses on the maintenance and modernisation of critical elevator components and offers 24/7 service solutions to its customers in the UK.
