White & Case Advises Lead Managers on Slovak Republic's €1.5 Billion Standalone Bond Issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised KBC Group member Československá obchodná banka, Erste Group member Slovenská sporiteľňa and Raiffeisen Group member Tatra banka, as lead managers, on the Slovak Republic's bond issue of €1.5 billion 1.000% notes due in 2030.

"This transaction is an important indicator of the market's trust in the Slovak economy and is the first of its kind since the new Slovak government assumed office in March 2020," said White & Case partner Juraj Fuska, who led the Firm's deal team. "We remain focused on providing full transaction support regardless of any challenges the clients face in the current environment."

The notes were offered via a Regulation S offering and are listed on the Bratislava Stock Exchange.

The White & Case team in Bratislava that advised on the transaction was led by partner Juraj Fuska and included associates Radoslav Pálka and Lukáš Kralovič.
